Welcome to the 2nd Annual Scrap Attack Scrapbooking Blog Hop! If my blog is the first place you have visited, make sure you don’t miss out on any of the blogs in the {SAS}sy Blog Hop, and start at the beginning by visiting Scrap Attack Scrapbooking.
The {SAS}sy team is dedicating an entire week to showcase inspirational projects utilizing items purchased from the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking Store! I LOVE this gorgeous June {SAS}sy Kit, which is one of three that debuted in June! This kit features the Scrap Within Reach Cambridge Collection with some Pink Paislee Starlight, Jillibean Soup and Little Yellow Bicycle and lots of fabulous embellishments.
Do you want a chance to win this fabulous kit?! Scrap Attack Scrapbooking is the July sponsor for the Scrapbook Challenges Community. Pamela and her talented group have several fun challenges that will help motivate you to scrap. Make sure to check them out this month. 1 lucky winner will receive this Cambridge Kit!
With the June Cambridge Kit and a couple of add-ons, I was able to create five layouts! I still have enough paper and embellishments left to make a couple of fabulous cards! Lauri's kits are such a great value for the price that I am usually able to create 5-7 layouts as well as several cards!
Every so often I like to scrap pages featuring my basset hound Scamp. Don't let his sad face fool you, he's totally spoiled! The colors and patterns in this kit were the perfect compliment for this photo. There is a regal feeling to these papers that matches Scamp's attitude, LOL! I LOVE adding flowers to my pages, but I wanted something masculine for this page. The following is a quick tutorial on how I created these layered flowers.
Supplies (For 1 Flower):
1 Piece Scrap Within Reach Cambridge "Aldridge" Cardstock
2 Prima Sprites Paper Flowers
Glue, Pencil, Scissors
Directions:
1. Cut a circle from the Cambridge "Aldridge" Cardstock.
2. Place the eraser end of a pencil in the center of the cut circle and fold the paper up and around the pencil.
3. Repeat steps 1. and 2. twice more so that you have a total of 3 curled circles. Glue the 3 circles together on a piece of scrap paper.
4. Place a small amount of glue in the center of one Prima Sprite and lay the second Sprite on top, slightly off-set, so that all 10 petals are in view.
5. Place a small amount of glue in the center of the layered Sprites and adhere the flower center from step 3.

Scrap Attack Scrapbooking will be donating prizes by randomly choosing winners from all comments left on participating blogs! Please be sure to comment so you are eligible to win! As a {BONUS} there is a hidden word on each blog that can be pieced together to make a familiar {SAS}sy phrase. If you can unscramble the words to make this phrase you could win a $50 gift certificate to the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking Store! For more details on the prizes, please see the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking blog.
