I created this page for the January Scrapbook Play Challenge at Scrap Attack Scrapbooking. Who says there are rules in scrapbooking? Our {SAS}sy Scrapbook Play Challenges will help you “cut loose” and open your eyes to all the rules you follow, consciously or not. Physical characteristics are the focus this month and I created this page about my daughter. Claire and I are different in so many ways, but she shares my crooked grin. I love this floral print paper by Pink Paislee but wanted to add a pop of color. I used my craft knife to cut out the flower petals and backed the cut portions of my paper with a bright orange damask print, also by Pink Paislee.

As a reminder, all scrappers who complete the minimum amount of {SAS}sy challenges per month are eligible to win a coupon good for an additional 10% off all purchases from the SAS Store! The {SAS}sy Team would love to see how you interpret this challenge and how you are inspired by any of our other monthly challenges, which include ad, color, sketches, journaling, greeting card and croppy cat challenges. Happy scrapping!
