I created this layout for the June {SAS}sy Inspiration Challenge at Scrap Attack Scrapbooking. You know you’re a scrapbooker when you take everyday things and draw inspiration from them to create a layout. For this challenge, we will be using everyday items like magazine ads, clothing, food packaging or word prompts as our source of inspiration.

The challenge this week is to use the advertisement shown below as inspiration for your layout. You are free to adapt it to any size you prefer – just have fun with it! (Your finished product should resemble the ad.) You can use any supplies you want. Have fun, mix it up, rotate the sketch and add embellishments…whatever makes you happy.

All participants of this challenge will be entered into a random drawing for an extra 10% off coupon to the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking Store! Entries are due by midnight PST on Friday 7/1/11. A winner will be drawn sometime on Saturday. Please feel free to upload your work to the INSPIRATION Challenge section of the Creative Gallery and link your image to the {SAS}sy Blog.

Here is your inspiration:

I loved the colored squares in this ad and used them for my inspiration when designing my layout.  I thought it would be fun to highlight my favorite outings from this year.  The little calendars from Crate Paper's Portrait "June" patterned paper were the perfect backgrounds for my photos. We can't wait to see what you create!
