Tee Time Clipboard - Moxxie

This Father's Day, the Dads in my family looked forward to spending some time on the golf course. My husband and his fellow golfers can get quite competitive, so I thought I would surprise him with an altered clipboard to hold his scorecard during his next round of golf.

Supplies:
One sheet of Tee Off (HIO-1295) Patterned Paper
Ribbon
Twine
Pencil
Ink
Adhesive
Scissors

Step One: Cut a piece of twine and tie one end to the clipboard and one end to the pencil. Next, cut a small piece of ribbon, wrap it around the pencil, and glue to the ends of the ribbon to the front and back of the clipboard. Pull the ends of the ribbon taunt around the pencil while the glue is drying to ensure the loop of ribbon holds the pencil snugly against the clipboard. Note: The ribbon loop alone is strong enough to hold the pencil securely, but the twine guarantees that the pencil stays with the clipboard.

Step Two: Cut a section of paper from the Tee Off sheet slightly larger than the clipboard and glue to the front of the clipboard.

Step Three: Trim the overhanging paper from the edges of the clipboard. Lightly ink the edges of the clipboard. Cut two small pieces of ribbon and tie around the clip at the top of the board.

After the game, surprise your favorite golfer with some tee-time cupcakes!

The Hole in One Cardstock Stickers (HIO-2226) make great cupcake toppers. Just adhere stickers to a toothpick, back with cardstock and add to cupcakes adorned with green sanding sugar.

The mini putting greens and sand traps are a fun treat for the 19th hole! Thanks for stopping by today! Check out the Moxxie Blog for more inspiration.
