Circus ATC - SNR Magazine

Supplies:
ATC Base: Ranger
Rhinestones: Prima
Ink: Ranger
Glaze: JudiKins
Paint: Tulip
Thread: Iris
Other: Magazine Ad, Popcorn Bag

I created this artist trading card for Scrapbook News and Review Magazine.  I love the circus and I think I managed to capture some of the excitement of the circus in this project.  I cut the clown and the letters from a popcorn bag and had a lot of fun adding embellishments, paint and glaze.

This ATC has a bit of a double meaning.  If you look closely you'll find that the magazine print is an ad for a film review about the life of Clarence Darrow, who is famous for his work defending John T. Scopes in the Scopes "Monkey" Trial, an event which I would also consider to have been a circus.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
