I used a mix of clear and cling stamps on this artist trading card. While browsing through the Paper Wings Productions Blog, I came across a tutorial for a Sticky Back Canvas Transfer. I used that technique to transfer the text from a vintage book page onto a piece of canvas for the base of my card. I then added some color with Faber-Castell Gelatos.
I wanted to incorporate this beautiful bird stamp (Bird Melange Cling Stamp Set) on my card and I thought it would be fun to make a small window. I cut a square from the top of my card and backed the space with a scrap of clear packaging. I stamped the bird onto the packaging with Archival Ink and then colored the image with markers.
Once I embellished the card, I created my own sentiment banner with the Banner Day and Handmade Clear Stamp Sets.
