Today is a Gift - UV Resin Flower Tutorial - Couture Creations

Hi! I'm sharing a card I made using the gorgeous 5x7 Great Moments Embossing Folder, from the All Occasions collection for Couture Creations today. I first used the embossing folder with patterned paper to create the tree. I then used the folder again as a mold for UV resin to make the pretty pink flowers.

To create this card, first emboss a piece of patterned paper with the 5x7 Great Moments Embossing Folder. Cut the tree from the patterned paper, removing the flowers as well.

Once the tree is cut, add it to a card base of patterned paper and cardstock. The largest piece of cardstock on my card measures 6 inches by 4.5 inches. I added a piece of leaf patterned paper along the bottom of my card for some visual interest.

To make the flowers, pour UV resin into the flowers of the Great Moments Embossing Folder and place the folder in the sun to dry.

Once the resin has set, remove the flowers from the embossing folder and add a coat of paint. Let dry.

Use the Apple Cider Die from the Endless Dreams collection with some patterned paper to make colorful leaves for the tree.

Adhere the flowers and leaves to the tree. Place a Gemstone in the center of each flower. Add a sentiment to finish the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
