DIY Postcard with Stamped Clouds and Collaged Papers

I'm thrilled that Summer vacation is finally here! I'm looking forward to long days spent lounging in the sun and icy cold beverages! On the off chance that I take a trip, I prepared some homemade postcards with the PWP June Nesting Components Mixed Media Kit and some PWP stamps.

While looking through the Pink Paislee 6x6 Hope Chest Paper Pad, the cute little dog immediately caught my attention. I trimmed a piece of 6x6 paper to 4.25x6 to make the base of my postcard and then added the dog, pieces of patterned paper, Paper Goods, Label Stickers and masking tape to decorate the front. I used the Cloudy Cling Stamp Set and Memento Rich Cocoa Ink (both included in the kit!) to add the clouds to my cards.

The back side of each piece of patterned paper from the paper pad is blank, which made altering the back of the paper to look like a postcard easy! I used the square shape from the Door Clear Stamp Set, the Ledger Journaling Lines Clear Stamp and the Perfect Alphabet Clear Stamp Set to design the back of each card. All I need is a stamp and a fun vacation destination and I'll be ready to send a quick note to family and friends!

The last stop on the hop is The Aviary. Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'm giving away a Cloudy Cling Stamp Set to one lucky commenter! Please check back here on Tuesday to see if you won!
