Epic Adventure Resist Mini Album - Faber-Castell Guest Designer

I'm so excited to share my final project as part of the Faber-Castell Guest Design Team! Working with the MIX and MATCH products from Faber-Castell makes designing with COLOR simple. Simply choose a color set that inspires you, choose a medium and Mix and Match as you create. The color coordinated palettes give you the freedom to design your project knowing the colors will work beautifully together. Perfect for all your design, memory and craft projects! I borrowed some vacation photos from my sister-in-law and put together this fun album for her as a gift.

I started by applying Margarita Mix, Acqua Dolce and Snow Cone Gelatos^® directly to my resist paper in a random pattern.

I then spritzed the resist paper with water and blended the Gelato^® color with my finger. I blotted the paper with a paper towel to remove the excess water and to wipe the color from the resist pattern. I added a pop of orange with some Tangerine mist that I mixed up using the Gelatos® Mist Maker Set and a Tangerine Gelato.^®
 

I used the same process as above to add color to the front and back covers of my album. I used a Coconut Gelato^® to add some bright highlights and a Silver Ice Gelato^® to darken the edges of my covers. I sprayed a small pool of my Tangerine mist onto my craft mat and dipped the top to my mister into the color and then onto my album to add the fun circle pattern to my covers.

Here are my finished album pages. I love that the Gelato colors are bright and vibrant and really stand out against busy patterned papers and photos.
