Dream Canvas - Quick Quotes

Hi! I'm sharing a canvas that I created for Quick Quotes today. I borrowed some pieces from the August Club Q Altered Kit for this piece. I assembled the mini album as directed except for the front and back covers. I set aside the two 5x7 Blank Canvas Panels and used just the patterned paper for my album covers. I created this canvas with one of the 5x7 Blank Canvas Panels, some of my favorite colors of PowderPuff Chalking Ink and patterned paper from the Be Bold Collection.

I created the floral print background with the negative of a flower die-cut sheet that came in the May Club Q Page Kit. I placed the die-cut negative on the canvas and spread a thin layer of molding paste over the paper. I carefully removed the paper and set aside my canvas to dry. I love this unique floral pattern and the variety of different sized flowers.

I lightly ran a Lemonade PowderPuff Chalking Ink pad over the entire canvas to highlight the flower petals. I used Red Hot PowderPuff Chalking Ink with a sponge dauber to highlight the flower centers. The inks blend beautifully! I used a texture stamp with Amaretto PowderPuff Chalking Ink to add the dots to the flower centers.  I used Blue Hawaiian and Tahiti PowderPuff Chalking Ink around the edge of the canvas.

I attached a quote from the Be Bold 500 patterned paper with adhesive foam to the center of my canvas to add more dimension to my piece. I finished my canvas with a bright and fun yellow bow.

Here's the super fun mini album that I created with the August Club Q Altered Kit.
