CropStop World Card Making Day Blog Hop + Giveaway!

Today, October 5th, is World Card Making Day!
A day to celebrate the "kick off" of the holiday card making season.

A little more about World Card Making Day...

WORLD CARD MAKING DAY
World Card Making Day began in 2006 as National Card Making Day founded by Paper Crafts magazine, and was so popular, it is now a worldwide event. Celebrating its eighth year in 2013, World Card Making Day is celebrated annually on the first Saturday in October. Its a day for the card-making community -- hobbyists, retailers, and manufacturers -- to unite and celebrate the connection and creativity that is the heart of card making.

CropStop is celebrating too!  We invite you to "jump" along with us on our World Card Making Day Blog Hop and join in our challenge to..."Inspire us and share your project."

I created this card with the new Glitz Design Raven Collection. I'm super excited for Halloween and all things creepy and crawly!

I centered a cardstock sticker on a die-cut that I created with the Couture Creations Celestial Doily Die. I separated the layers with Foam Mounting Tape to add dimension to my card. I added flowers, giant rhinestones, twine and a glittery spider to make a spooktacular embellishment cluster.

I added Couture Creations Green Glitzin' Glamour Glitter Glue to the eyes of the owl for a fun pop of shimmery color.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I have a prize to give away to celebrate World Card Making Day, some of my favorite Couture Creations embossing folders and dies! Leave a comment this weekend for a chance to win! I'll announce the winner on Tuesday, October 8th.
