Welcome to Paper Wing Productions Thankful Design Team Blog Hop and
Giveaway! If you've arrived here from the Paper Wings Productions Blog, then you're in the right place.
This month we’re taking a moment to give thanks for all of the wonderful things in our lives and showcasing them in our Thankful blog hop. So grab some coffee, tea or whatever works for you, get comfortable and enjoy the hop!
For a chance to win all you need to do is:
I used a piece of packaging for the base of this tag. The larger size and more sturdy material was ideal for adding layers of wet media. I started by embossing the packaging using a leaf print embossing folder. I then applied a layer of gesso.
I added color to the tag base with Blood Orange, Margarita Mix and Raspberry Gelatos. I used the circles background stamp from the Art Textures Cling Stamp Set with Molding Paste to add some raised circles to the background of my tag. I added bright teal ink splatters for a fun pop of color.
I stamped several leaves from the Leaves Cling Stamp Set onto patterned paper and then cut them out to use as embellishments. The detail on the leaf stamps is amazing and so realistic. If you love the look of a colorful, crunchy leaf, this set is for you! I finished my tag with a thankful sentiment from the Thankful Clear Stamp Set. I added the bright green along the edge of the tag with a Faber-Castell Green Olive Big Brush Pen. I think this tag would look great tied around a hostess gift.
The next stop on the hop is Erica's Blog.
