You're My Anchor Card - Couture Creations

Hi! I'm sharing a card that I created with the NEW Anchor Die from the Secret Treasures Decorative Die Collection and some of my favorite Nesting Dies for Couture Creations today. I'm creating a lot of love-themed crafts this month for the Valentine's Day holiday and this anchor was perfect for a romantic masculine card.

I used several dies to cut cardstock and burlap for the focal point of my card. (Oval Nesting Die (Top Left), Cameo Nesting Die (Top Right), Anchor Die (Bottom Left), Berardi Intricutz Die (Bottom Right)

I inked the edges of the burlap cameo die-cut and the oval die-cut with ink, adhered the two die-cuts together with Double-Sided Tape and then stamped my sentiment.

I wanted to add more dimension to my card, so I used the smallest Scallop Oval Nesting Die to cut a mat for my anchor. I used Foam Mounting Tape to attach the anchor to my card base. I added a layered cardstock sticker, flowers and a twine bow around the anchor. I added a pop of red to the cardstock sticker with the heart die-cut created with the Berardi Die.

To finish my card I added a pearl border to my oval die-cut with a pearl pen and a Clear Gemstone to the Berardi die-cut heart.
