I have more than one favorite color. Green usually catches my eye the most, I like to wear black and my favorite scrappy accent color is orange. So how did I end up creating this purple tag?! My daughter was working alongside me and asked me to make something for her. Her favorite color is purple. :)
I started by covering a shipping tag with a piece of vintage school writing paper from the Vintage Easter Nesting Components Mixed Media Kit. I then added stamping with the Fringe Lace, Art Textures and Valentine Wishes stamp sets in several shades of purple ink. I used a stencil with Light Molding Paste to add a circle pattern over the stamping, which I then spritzed with purple mist. I inked the edges of the tag with purple ink and added some strips of purple washi tape.
I clustered several purple flowers and a chipboard heart, that I painted purple, in the center of the tag. I finished the tag with a bow of gorgeous Hand-Dyed Ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by today! The next stop on the hop is Ashley Hamm.
