I created this mixed media panel with the Bird Beauty Cling Stamp Set and some of my favorite Faber-Castell art mediums: Gesso, Whipped Spackle, Gelatos and Glass Bead Glitter Gel. I primed a piece of chipboard with gesso and then added color with Black Cherry, Watermelon and Raspberry Gelatos. I stamped a fun Double Dot Border with Black Archival Ink.
This bird from the Bird Beauty Cling Stamp Set is one of my favorites images. I also added a couple of feathers using stamps from the same set. I continued the circle theme with buttons and also added circles of Whipped Spackle by using a stencil.
This quote is included in the Bird Beauty Cling Stamp Set. I added a small purple embellishment cluster and Glass Bead Glitter Gel around the edge of my panel for a sparkly finish.

ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! I love the dark purple around the edges and the lighter purple in the middle. It really draws your eyes to the stamped images!
