Sea Shell Gift Cases - Canvas Corp

Sea Shell Gift Case Tutorial by Dana Tatar

Hi! I'm sharing a project tutorial that I created for Canvas Corp today. I always collect shells when I visit the beach. I had a lot of fun using some of my favorite finds to create gift cases. These small cases are the perfect way to deliver a gift to a fellow beach lover. Try tucking a strand of pearls, an engagement ring or keys to a new beach bungalow inside these natural containers to help make an occasion extra special.

Step 2: Using a power drill, drill two small holes into the back edge of each shell. Tie two shells together with Jute Rope Cord to create one gift case. Repeat the process with the other four shells.

Step 3: Wrap a small gift in White Tissuestock and place inside a shell case. Cut a length of Canvas Fringe and wrap around a shell case. Next, cut a length of White Cord, wrap the cord around the shell case and tie into a bow. For a more masculine look, cut a length of Burlap Fringe and wrap around a shell case. Next, cut a length of Jute Rope and knot it around the shell case.
