Amor Card - Clearsnap

Ink for this project was provided by Clearsnap.

Hi! I'm sharing a card that I created with some of the new colors of ink from Clearsnap. I picked up a Day of the Dead Kit and a Calaveras and Corazons Clear Stamp Set from Paper Wings Productions, which happened to pair perfectly with the new colors of Smooch and Marisa Pawelko Modern Surrealist Surfacez Ink.

Here's how I created the beaded pendant:

Step One: Stamp a sugar skull design onto a piece of white paper and paint with Smooch Ink. Add a small amount of glaze to the top of each colored image and press a clear pendant over the top. Once the glaze is dry, trim any excess patterned paper from around the pendant.

Setp Two: Follow the Beaded Cabochon Tutorial by the mega-talented Sandie Edwards to stitch beads around the pendant. Use a paintbrush with Maria Pawelko Modern Surrealist Surfacez Ink to color the beads. Finish the pendant by adding a colorful floral cluster to the top.

Once the pendant was finished, I attached it to a gold doily and then to my card base. I finished the card with the stamped sentiment "Amor."

Thanks for stopping by today!
