Hi! The Canvas Corp Creative Crew is thinking pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I'm sharing how I created this "Hope" canvas today. I have a fantastic assortment of pink products from 7 Gypsies, Canvas Corp and Tattered Angels. I gathered them all, and rather than selecting a few items to work with, I decided to use each one to create this patchwork canvas.

Other Supplies: Pink Flower, Pink Seam Binding, Canvas Letters, Breast Cancer Pin, Matte Multi-Medium, Gesso
Tools: Paintbrush, Scissors, Heat Gun, Stapler
Step One: Mist and paint pieces of white cardstock and specialty papers. Dry with heat gun.
Step Two: Prep the canvas with a coat of gesso. Dry with heat gun. Use matte multi-medium to apply pieces of patterned paper, rope, canvas, burlap, ribbon and lace in a patchwork style over the front and sides of the canvas. Dry with a heat gun. Note: The Canvas Corp Pink Sampler Pack is an affordable way to purchase a variety of canvas trademark 80# paper, multiple fabrics, envelopes, tags and clothespins.
Step Three: Wrap a piece of Canvas Fringe and Hot Pink Hemp Rope around the canvas and secure with staples to the back of the canvas. Paint "H," "p" and "e" canvas letters with Tattered Angels Bubblegum Glimmer Mist and glue to the Canvas Fringe. Attach a Breast Cancer Awareness pin to the canvas in place of an "o" to spell the word "Hope." Attach a pink fabric flower to the Canvas Fringe.
Step Four (Optional): Lightly dry brush gesso over the canvas for a shabby finish.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope my project will give you inspiration to support, celebrate or honor somebody you know who is currently battling or is a survivor of this disease.
