Hi! Thanks for joining the World Card Making Day Blog Hop hosted by Clearsnap! If you arrived here from Abby's blog, you're in the right place! I used the Clearsnap Rollagraph Film Strip Design Wheel to roll out a frame to create a creepy reel of clip art images for my Halloween card. The Film Strip Design Wheel is so fun to use that my husband even gave it a roll! I'm going to show you how I created my film strips today. I think this is one of the most versatile designs and I use it for crafts all year long.
Stop One: Insert the Film Strip Design Wheel into a standard Rollagraph Handle, ink up with Dragonfly Black Pigment Ink, and roll the design onto a piece of vellum paper. Apply Black Embossing Powder over the pigment ink and heat to set.
Step Two: Cut the center of each film strip away to create space for photos. Trim clip art to size and glue images to the back of the film strips. Note: The cutting tools shown were supplied to my by Westcott Brand. You can purchase this creepy Jeepers Creepers Clip Art from Gecko Galz.
Step Three: Confession time: I don't make a lot of cards and I never measure anything! I cut a piece of black cardstock down to an A2 size card base and then trimmed down pieces of patterned paper from the Graphic 45 Rare Oddities collection to various sizes. I ink the edges of all the papers with the NEW colors of ColorBox Cat's Eye Chalk Ink.
Step Four: Assemble the card. Attach the film strips to the card using Dodz XL for extra dimension.
Thanks for stopping by today!
