Just Plain Fun! - Stuck?! Sketches

Hi! It's time for the mid-month reveal at Stuck?! Sketches! I took my girls and their cousins to Airtime over Thanksgiving break and everyone had a blast. My Sister-In-Law took this photo of my daughter Claire in midair. Claire's athleticism amazes me. I so wish that I could bend in half like this!

The decor was orange and grey, so I matched that color palette for this layout. I built up layers of patterned paper and fun embellishments under my photos. I used a Creative Embellishments Film Strip Picture Frame, which I embossed in bright orange, to highlight one of my photos. I also used the Creative Embellishments Binary Stamp with grey chalk ink to add a subtle pattern to the background of the page.

Trampolines and counting always seem to go together so I included numbers in my design. I used patterned paper, die-cut stickers, paper dots, plastic doilies and foam words to create my title spot.

Here's the sketch if you'd like to play along. I rotated the sketch one click to the right for my design.

I hope you can find the time to join us this month! Visit the Stuck?! Sketches Blog to see what the rest of the designers have created. We have two amazing sponsors for this challenge; Creative Embellishments and Scrapmatts.

To enter for a chance to win, link your layout up in the right sidebar of the Stuck?! Sketches Blog by January 30th. All prizes winners are selected randomly using Random.org. When linking your layouts, please make sure it is linked to the specific post your layout is in, not your blog as a whole, as it can be hard later in the month to find your layout. You can also link from any gallery including Flickr or Facebook, but we may not be able to comment. Feel free to combine this sketch with no more than one other non-sketch challenge. Please include a link back to Stuck?! Sketches on your blog entry for our challenge.

Thanks for stopping by today!
