Welcome to the Tando Creative + Stampendous Blog Hop! If you've arrived here from Laura's blog you're in the right place. If you're stopping by today for another reason and would like to join us on our inspiring hop and have the chance to win an amazing prize package, please visit the Stampendous blog to start the hop from the beginning.
I altered a binder for this hop using a piece from the Elephant Bunting, and Stampendous Spoonful of Rust, Fran-tage Hot Neon Fragments (Hot Blue), and the Nathalie Kalbach Elephant Foam Stamp, Cling Rubber and Stencil Set.
Instructions:
Step One: Cut fabric to size and glue to the front and back covers of a binder. Cover the spine of the binder and the cut edge of the fabric with washi tape.
Step Two: Position the stencil from the Stampendous Elephant Set onto the center of the front cover of the binder. Apply gesso over the stencil. Let dry.
Step Three: Layer embellishments over the stenciled portion of the front cover.
Step Four: Heat set Spoonful of Rust and some Hot Blue Fragments onto an elephant from the Tando Creative Elephant Bunting. Apply red acrylic paint to the Foam Stamp from the Elephant Set and stamp onto the chipboard elephant. Let dry. Attach the ear and a googly eye to the elephant. Secure the elephant to the front cover of the album.
Step Five: To finish the album cover, attach a gold elephant pin, a pair of bows and some sentiment stickers.
I've had this binder in my stash for several years and I may actually use it now that it has had a facelift! The Stampendous products are super fun to use. I love that I'm able to add texture and color in a single step!
I hope I have inspired you today! The next stop on the hop is Janelle's blog.
