Easter Blessing Arch - Tando Creative

Easter Blessing Easter Bunny Arch by Dana Tatar for Tando Creative

Hi! I'm sharing an arch I created for the Happy Easter theme this week on the Tando Creative Design Blog. I started with an inner cut arch from the Arabian-Style Layered Arch Frame. Next, I covered the arch with a piece of pastel plaid patterned paper from the Pretty Little Studio Hopscotch Collection. I pull out this older line every year for Easter crafting. I just love the prints and vintage ephemera!

Chipboard Easter Egg Grass Border on Arch by Dana Tatar for Tando Creative

I embellished the bottom of the arch with a piece of Grass-Flexistrip that I colored with green acrylic paint. I added some "eggs" to the grass, which are some leftover circles from the Round Grid that I also colored with acrylic paint.

Glittered Easter Bunny Die-Cut and Stamped Sentiment on Arch by Dana Tatar for Tando Creative

I added an Easter bunny die-cut from the Pretty Little Studio Hopscotch Collection to the top of the arch. I embellished the bunny with a gold bow, (the die-cut has a black bow, but I wanted something a bit more fun) and some pink glitter glue for the cheeks and ears. I stamped the "Easter Blessing" sentiment with a stamp from the Paper Wings Productions Easter Cling Stamp Set and purple chalk ink onto a piece of white cardstock, and then cut it out and glued it across the widest section of the arch. I added some dimensional peach paint dots and a decorative looped trim around the edge of the arch to finish.

I think I'll leave this arch out for the Easter bunny. My daughter created a special card for the Easter bunny with some super cute fingerprint stamped chicks and rabbits. Maybe we'll both get an extra piece of candy!

You can find the chipboard I used for this project in the Tando Creative Retail Store. There are several different styles of arches and grids available. We'd love to see your creativity! Share your work with us in Tando's Creative Zone on Facebook.
