I had a ton of fun working on this paint-by-number canvas! The days seem to go by faster and faster during the holiday season. I often feel overwhelmed with the errands, school events, and social events that are common at this time of year. I needed a project that would help be relax. I really enjoyed the quiet time in my studio while I worked on this piece. The sound of the paintbrush on canvas was soothing. I also loved watching this design come to life one color at a time.

I wanted my finished canvas to be original, so I added stamping. I chose snowflakes from the Winter Wonderland Clear Stamp Set and the Holiday Mix It Up Clear Stamp Set. Once the paint was dry, I simply stamped several snowflakes onto the canvas using black Staz-On Ink.

I added this canvas to my mantle. I just love the pop of color!
