Heritage Scrapbooks Circa 1940

Hi! I'm sharing a peek inside my family scrapbooks on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog today. These albums date back to the 1940s and belonged to my Grandfather. It is so fun to look back at memorable events from the exciting time in his life when he graduated high school, met my Grandmother, and settled into his first home. Many of the photos have come loose from the original photo corners, so I'm carefully piecing the pages back together with new Creative Photo Corners from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

How to Use Kraft Creative Photo Corners to Secure Vintage Family Photos

In addition to preserving the albums that are already complete, I'm working with my Mother to sort and organize loose family photos into albums. Some of the photos were taken in the early 1900s, like this birthday portrait. Don't they look like they're having fun?! A few photos even date back to the late 1800s.

Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L offers a variety of colors of Creative Photo Corners to complement pictures both old and new. I'd love to have you stop by the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog to the different color options in use.

    1. Thank you Andrea! As I work on this project, I am so thankful for the family history that I have. While I don't know all the people or stories, a lot of the photos can speak for themselves. These old albums are a great motivator for me to stay up to date with the memory keeping of my family.
