Stripes + Flowers Greeting Card from Scraps - Clearsnap

Hi! I'm sharing a card that I created completely from scraps for Clearsnap today. I used ColorBox DyeStress and Premium Dye Ink to color white cardstock scraps to create a beautiful Spring card. One of my favorite pattern combinations is flowers and stripes. I had a lot of fun playing not only with prints, but also with texture for this card. I added enamel, epoxy, and wood embellishments. These mixed media layers and the colorful palette make me so happy!

How to Transform Cardstock Scraps with ColorBox DyeStress Ink

Use Art Daubers to apply ColorBox DyeStress ink to white cardstock scraps.

Use a floral die set to cut the inked cardstock into flowers and leaves. Glue the die-cut designs together.

Create striped patterned paper by dragging a Stephanie Barnard Licorice Premium Dye Inkpad across a piece of white cardstock.

Apply ink to the You Are My Favorite stamp from the ColorBox Clearstamps Butterfly set with Stephanie Barnard Licorice Archival Dye Ink. Press the stamp onto a wood circle.

Cut a card base from blue patterned paper to make a card that measures 4.25 x 5.5 inches. Add the striped patterned paper, die-cut flowers, and stamped sentiment circle to the front of the card. Embellish the card with enamel dots.
