Worried Moon Artist Trading Card - More Than Words Challenges

Artist Trading Card with Chipboard Moon Acrylic Stars and Chris Cornell Song Lyrics

Hi! I'm sharing the artist trading card I created for the October 2020 More Than Words Mini Challenge today. The mini challenge this month is to use the mini word MOON on a card, postcard, artist trading card, or tag. I immediately thought of the song "Worried Moon" by Chris Cornell and used his lyrics for this piece.

I used a Creative Embellishments Chipboard Crescent Moon for the focal piece of this card. I first sprayed the chipboard with a silver mist. Once dry, I painted the raised portions of the moon with a white paint pen. To add more texture to the debossed section of the chipboard piece, I applied a layer of crackle paste. I secured the moon to a piece of star print patterned paper that I splattered with white chalkboard mist. To add a touch of sparkle to the card, I applied several Creative Embellishments Rose Gold Mirrored Acrylic Stars.

Lastly, I added the computer generated song lyrics to the bottom of the card. I colored the white paper with a Tattered Rose Distress Marker.
