Hi! I'm sharing the December Daily Album cover and some fun festive journal inserts that I upcycled from junk mail for Clique International. I'm running a bit behind this month, but I'm thrilled with what I have completed so far. I'm not much for planning out each day in my December album, so the inner pages are blank until I work on the spreads for each day. I used patterned paper and die-cuts from the Pretty Little Studio Christmas Cheer Seasonal Kit from Clique International to dress up the front and back covers of this album, along with some 49 and Market flowers from my stash. I also added a couple enamel stickers from the Rosie's Studio Christmas Embellishments Add-On Kit. This kit is a perfect add on kit to use with any of the fantastic Seasonal Christmas Kits from the Clique Shop!
The album that I'm using does not have enough pages to document the entire month, so I upcycled some junk mail to create festive fold-out pages to store more photos. Now that I see these pages in the album there is no way I could cover them up, so I'll have to come up with a different solution. I created each insert by first applying a layer of gesso to several pieces of junk mail. Tis the season for sturdy cardstock coupon mailers, so I had plenty to chose from. They worked great because they were already folded, and most only required a little trimming to fit inside the album. I used stamps and tracings from coloring book pages to decorate the pages.
The second insert features stockings with the stamped sentiment 'JOY' on the front side. Pulling that insert up reveals white doves and the stamped sentiment 'PEACE.'
