Hi! I'm sharing a birthday celebration scrapbook layout that I created for Pretty Little Studio today. This amazing balloon print Birthday Bash patterned paper is part of the Sunkissed collection. I created my own balloon photo and journaling spot to coordinate with the fun paper design. I also decided to include the birthday invitation on this layout for a pop of color, which I decorated further with die-cuts and fussy cut elements. If you're looking for a way to document your celebration, this made-to-order paper is a must-have!
To create the balloon, I cut a circle from a piece of resist canvas and colored it with yellow, orange, and pink spray mist. Once dry, I attached the balloon to the page and used it as a photo and journaling mat. I painted chipboard number candles from my stash a bold pink to document my birthday girl's age.
I used a piece of yellow twine to create the tail of the balloon. Staples were a great way to secure the curled twine to the page.
I cut the banner and little mouse from the Paint Color patterned paper, which is included in the main paper pack, and used those whimsical pieces to decorate the birthday invitation. I finished the page with a die-cut title that I colored with markers.
