Hi! I'm sharing a layout that I created with the September Color Kit from Color Rush Studio today. The term Meraki means doing something with creativity, passion, and love. How perfect is that?! This kit is a mix of classic and floral prints in an earthy color palette, which is perfect for seasonal crafting, or vintage inspired projects like the one I created.
I pieced together a background of layered squares made up of cardstock and patterned paper from the kit. I couldn't narrow down which patterned papers to use, and this fun design allowed me to showcase almost all of them.
The orange flowers in this kit immediately had me thinking of one of the few photos I have of my Great Grandmother. I layered fussy cut flowers around the photo and then embellished further with Baby Daisies and Corduroy Heart.
I created a border along the top and bottom edges of the page using corrugated cardboard and fussy cut flowers. I then created a quick title using foam alphas. The alphas shown above are different than the multicolored set that comes in the kit.
