Sunshine Florals Scrapbook Layout - Brutus Monroe

How to use floral layering stencils and cardstock to cut and create a colorful DIY flower print patterned paper for a sunny spring scrapbook layout.

Hi! I used the new floral layering stencils with cardstock to create my own colorful flower print patterned paper for this sunny scrapbook layout that I created for Brutus Monroe. I'm thinking spring with this page full of flowers that I cut by hand and a sweet photo of my niece.

I wanted to make a frame for the page, so I added a die-cut border that I made by cutting and pasting cuts from the Lace Layers Die Set out of bright blue cardstock. I love the delicate punched design that helps to define the edge of the paper and the way the border helps to contain my hand-cut flowers. I used the Sunny Sentiments Stamp Set to add a simple stamped title over the photo.

I added a subtle shimmer to the page by embellishing the flower centers with glitter glaze and crystals.
