Happy Fall Flip Book - Brutus Monroe

 

Hi! I'm sharing the Fall Flip Book that I put together for Brutus Monroe. It doesn't officially feel like fall for me until I spend a day outside collecting apples and pumpkins. It's not quite time for my favorite fall activities, so I decided to document a past visit to one of my local orchards. I repurposed a flip book, converting the album from summer to fall, by changing out the patterned paper pages and by embellishing the front cover with some fall imagery using seasonal products from Brutus Monroe.

I used chipboard, cutting dies, and stamps to build a scene for the book cover. I cut a piece of acetate to fill the truck windows, so they look like glass. I covered the painted chipboard truck with Bonfire Glimmer Glitter Glaze for a fun touch of sparkle on this otherwise matte design.

The flip book measures approximately 7.25 x 4.25 inches and contains four 4 x 6-inch photo inserts and stenciled and foiled pages that are perfect for journaling and memorabilia. I punched holes in each page and strung a piece of string through them to hold the album together.

I added fall imagery and quotes to many of the book pages to reinforce the themes of my photos.

I used the stamp sets to add sentiments directly to the photos.
