Hi! I had a blast creating this Halloween greeting card for Brutus Monroe. I used the Eye Love You Stamp Set, which has been rereleased with its coordinating die set, stencils, and cutting dies to build this spooky cemetery scene.
I used Raven cardstock for the card base and the focal point of the card. To bring some needed color to my design, I used a sheet of patterned paper from the Black Pearl paper pad, which features bold shades of pink, orange, green, blue, and purple.
I chose the Eye Love You hand stamp and die for this card scene. There are also an anatomical eye and heart, and a letter U made out of bones included in this stamp set, which would have been equally fun to work with. Maybe I should make another card using those pieces! I colored the hand with markers and then splattered it with green and brown Aqua Pigment for a more decayed appearance. The hand also features an eerie glow with a topcoat of Glow in the Dark Glitter Glaze.
I added shimmer to this design with metallic Chroma Mist and Glaze for the starry night background. I cut the bats out of glossy iridescent mirror cardstock which adds a fantastic shine to the scene.
