Hi! I used the Life in the Garden Stamp Set, from the new Rooted in Kindness release, to create this Thank You card for Brutus Monroe. I painted my own background panel using the black and white grid patterned paper from the Garden Fresh Paper Pad and String Bean and Collard Greens Chroma Mist. This color combination is giving me Arnold Lobel a la "Frog and Toad" vibes. I absolutely loved reading his books as a child. A Grid Sparkle Overlay adds a subtle shimmer to this uplifting card.
I built my own set of potted plants with some creative fussy cutting to visually show growth for the focal point of this card. I really enjoyed the process of building this card, especially the painted squares. It really helped me to slow down and be present in the moment.
