Hi! I used the Gardening 101 Mixed Media Stencil and the One of a Kind Stamp Set to create this pair of friendship cards for Brutus Monroe. I combined stenciling, stamping, and coloring techniques to add depth and dimension to my card panels. The card bases created with the Wildflowers Mixed Media Layering Stencil have me thinking Spring!
I created a shadow for these garden tools that I stamped with the Life in the Garden Stamp set using the similar shapes from the Gardening 101 Stencil. This simple technique adds so much depth to this card design.
I used the same stencil and stamp set combination on this second card. I love fussy cutting, but the wheelbarrow frame would have been a challenge even for me! I instead stenciled the frame onto cardstock and then used the stencil to trace and cut additional parts of the wheelbarrow for the card, which I attached with foam tape for added dimension.
I used the older Radishing Stamp Set for the sentiments. This set was released in the fall, but pairs perfectly with the new Rooted in Kindness Release.
