Hi! I created this mini album from card bases and products from the Rooted in Kindness Release for Brutus Monroe. The Glitterstock covers and hand-stitched binding are an eye-catching way to document 15 flowers and vegetables that I have grown in my garden over the years. Windmill Sparkle Overlay-covered Seedlings Creative Cards are on the left side of every two-page spread. Photos of flowers and vegetables plus stenciled, embossed, and chipboard embellishments are on the right.
Here are a couple of my favorite pairs of pages.
The front and back covers feature flowers that I have grown in my yard. I used Garden Fence Chipboard pieces along the bottom of the photos. I colored them quickly with no mess and no fuss using the Americano Dobber. Theodore's Garden Stamp Set was perfect for embellishing the pages.
I love to use the Mixed Media Layering Stencils with cardstock when I can. I try to include this technique in mini albums where you can really enjoy the tactile experience of touching layers of paper. The fussy cutting and gluing is all worth it in the end! The tomato and watermelon pages are my favorites.
There are so many fun carrot designs in the release this month! I used most of them on these pages.
I used the Farmer's Market Stencil with the Celery Embossing Powder of the Month on this spread to add lettuce to Alabaster cardstock. I splattered the embossed page with String Bean and Collard Greens Chroma Mist to add an element of fun. One year we grew enough romaine lettuce to feed 15 people fresh Caesar salad at our family reunion!
I hand-stitched the binding to spell out the word GROW.
