Celestial Mini Album - Brutus Monroe

 

Hi! I had a blast creating this spaced-out mini album for Brutus Monroe. I cut up a celestial print diamond art canvas that I picked up from Five Below to create the covers for this album. The signatures are created from acetate, cardstock, and patterned paper treated with various stenciled, stamped, and foiled mixed media techniques.

I'm a tactile crafter, so these beaded mini album covers are so fun to touch. I didn't feel too bad cutting up this canvas because it was only $5. Well worth the price to make a mini album this stellar.

Each signature is the same and they are both held together with a simple pamphlet stich. I added eyelets to the spine and then looped string through the holes, slid these signatures in, and then tied them to the spine.

I used the older Watercolor Galaxy and Jawbreaker 6x6 Paper Pads and the packaging from the Deep Space Acetate to cover the majority of the cardstock pages. I used simple mixed media techniques to create a big impact. Starting at the top left circle and moving to the right across each row, the following treatments were applied to paper:
