Mermaid Mini Album - Brutus Monroe and Pear Blossom Press

 


Hi friends! It doesn't feel like summer until I create a mermaid themed project. The Brutus Monroe and Pear Blossom Press Collaboration Instagram and YouTube Hop was the perfect way to get my mermaid fix. This album has it ALL--swimming mermaids, a die-cut sequin-filled shaker spine, light-up under the sea scenes, and 58 interactive album pages that feature sea nymphs and plenty of space for photos and journaling.


I used the Lawn Fawn Slide on Over Die Set to create the channel and a Snap and Spin embellishment that allows my mermaid to spin and swim across the album cover. I cut the mermaid from a card panel and added a die-cut fish and stamped sentiment to complete the scene. Where's her friend?

I used the Brutus Monroe Smile Cutting Die to create my own stencil to spell out the word swim for this shaker binding. I cut out the letters by hand and then filled the shaker with sequins that I die-cut from glitter paper.

I used older sea themed stamp sets from Brutus Monroe to add stamped and colored turtles, starfish, crabs, shells, and fish to the inside front and back covers. 

Each scene contains a Pear Blossom Press EZ-Light or One Light.

Simply press the button with your finger to light up the scene!

The inside pages feature lots of fun folds and Sea Nymph Creative Cards. This album is ready for photos and journaling from my family beach trip!
