Mixed Media MemoryDex Creative Cards Version 2 - Brutus Monroe

 

Hi! I made another batch of mixed media cards for my MemroyDex Box. This time I used the Radiant Roots Creative Cards from Brutus Monroe. The backgrounds for the cards were crafted by applying stenciled designs and Chroma Mist onto card panels. Each card features a lovely lady from the Radiant Roots Creative Cards set, a cardstock quote tag, and sparkly die-cut and crystal embellishments.

I cut each card panel to measure 3.5 inches wide by 4.5 inches tall from the Inked Botanicals Card Panels and then added more color using Ladybug, Marigold, and Bluebell Chroma Mist. I applied clear embossing ink over the Sunrise Simple Blend Stencil and then heat embossed with Lava Lamp Glow Embossing Powder over the stenciled ink. To add depth to the cards, I applied purple ink over the X Pattern Mixed Media Stencil randomly over the card. I finished the basic design of each card by outlining the border with a black marker.

I selected a lovely lady from the Rainbow Roots Creative Cards for each card. I fussy cut the girls from the creative cards and attached them to the card bases with 3D foam squares for dimension. Next, I cut a cardstock tag and added a handwritten quote to each. I finished embellishing the cards with die-cut glitter stock shapes and flat back crystals.
