It's Monday and time for another fabulous color challenge with the Design Dollies. This week's colors are black, burgandy and yellow. My girls look so sad in these photos. They were running out of steam near the end of our family photo shoot last year. Maybe this year we will be able to get some smiles! The Dollies would love to see what you can create with the color combination. Play along for your chance to win a Spooky prize pack featuring Basic Grey! Remember, your creations must be NEW for this challenge and you MUST link back to the Dollhouse no later than MIDNIGHT EST on Sunday, September 26th. Happy scrapping!

September {SAS}sy Reveal!

I was so happy to be able to work with Bo Bunny's Sun Kissed Collection and SEI's On The Coast Collection this month for Scrap Attack Scrapbooking. The colors of these two collections are bold and vibrant. The patterns of the Bo Bunny papers and the texture of the SEI papers coordinated so well together and they were perfect for capturing the last moments of summer. A little bit of Prima bling, Dear Lizzy Thickers and Adornit Glitter Alphas were the perfect finishing touches. Please see my online gallery for a list of the products I used on each page.

{SAS}sy Crate Contest

Grab a box, a "crate" or even a drawer full of paper because Scrap Attack Scrapbooking is kicking off September with a contest! The SAS team would love to see what you are creating using Crate Paper products so we hope you can join us for a little contest.

Here are the details:

• Your layout or project must contain at least 75% Crate Paper products.

• Your entry must be new and made specifically for this contest. Projects that have been previously made or used for other contests or challenges will be ineligible for this contest.

• 1 entry is allowed per person and this is open to US and International designers.

• Deadline for entry is midnight PST on September 30th, 2010 with a winner being announced within a week.

• For those that want an extra challenge – and an extra entry into the drawing – see if you can use the letters in CRATE when creating your project. Each letter should represent the name of 1 item on your page/project. You can pick the items as long as they spell CRATE. (i.e. C=cardstock, R=ric rack, A=alphabet, etc.) The options are endless, just be creative.

Please email your submission and contact information to ScrapAttackScrapbooking@msn.com with Crate Paper Contest in the subject line. You are also encouraged to share your work with us on our blog, message board or Facebook page but please make sure you first and foremost email your submission.

Regardless of your scrappy level, everyone is eligible to win as we will be pulling a winner at random! Speaking of winning…we’re donating a $50 Crate Paper prize pack filled with gorgeous collections, including some of their newest releases!

If you are in need of Crate Paper lines, we have a store stocked with wonderful lines. Please stop by the Crate Paper Section of the store to pick some up!

Good luck to everyone!

Lolla Memories

Supplies:
Paper: Moxxie
Flowers: Sassafras
Mist: Clearsnap

I created this layout for the September Scrap Attack Scrapbooking Scrapbook Play Challenge. Who says there are rules in scrapbooking? The {SAS}sy Scrapbook Play Challenges will help you "cut loose" and open your eyes to all the rules you follow, consciously or not. The "golden three" of scrapbooking pages are a title, photo and journaling, but these elements are not mandatory. The challenge this month is to create a page WITHOUT a photo, journaling and a title are optional. I collected several items during my time at Lollapalooza, but I didn't take a lot of photos. I wanted to preserve the memories of my trips to and from the concert grounds in a unique way. Instead of taking a photo of myself riding the Metra or standing in line, I chose to keep ticket stubs and pages from the concert program. If you've never been to Lollapalooza it's a fabulous 3-day music festival in Chicago. I had a great time! The {SAS}sy team would love to see what you can create with your memorabilia. Thanks for playing along!

It's Thursday! Time for another sketch from the Design Dollies. I can't wait for the weather to cool down. I'm slowly digging out my fall papers and embellies to celebrate the change of seasons. I fell in love with this apple print paper by Onirie. The cutie in the photo is my nephew Dylan. I wish I could reach through the photo and pinch is cheeks! If you want to add to this challenge, incorporate this week's Color and Elements Challenges for a TRIFECTA! Trifectas are due by midnight EST on Setpember 5th. Happy scrapping!
