Paper: Onirie
Letters: American Crafts
Flower: Lily Bee
Stickers: Pink Paislee, Sassafras

I scrapped this photo of Claire, one of my favorites from the summer, some time ago and thought I'd share.  All the scallops were cut from one piece of Onirie paper.  I really love the orange, green and blue color combo even though these shades are not typical summer colors.  I'm always looking for new ways to use my scrapbook supplies. To make the banner I cut the negative from my sheet of Pink Paislee banner stickers and filled the white space with patterned paper.

Sew Cool - American Crafts Details Challenge

Paper: American Crafts, Nikki Sivils
Fabric Chipboard: American Crafts
Vinyl Shapes: American Crafts
Flair Badge: American Crafts
Details Floral Embellishment: American Crafts
Journaling Sticker: October Afternoon
Ribbon: Offray, Webster's Pages
Thread: Iris
Vintage Size Chart: Simplicity

I would really love to learn how to sew and to teach the craft to my girls.  My husband's grandmother gave me her sewing machine and several boxes full of goodies to go with it.  I found this old size chart and thought it would make a super cute focal point for a layout.  I love the colors and sewing inspired patterns of the American Crafts Craft Fair Collection and the amazing details of their Details embellishments.  This page came together quickly and is my new favorite.  American Crafts is having a Details Challenge this week on their blog. If you have some Details in your stash, be sure to check it out!

Crooked Grin - Scrap Attack Scrapbooking

Paper: Pink Paislee
Chipboard Letters: American Crafts
Flowers: Pink Paislee
Lace: Prima
Journaling Sticker: October Afternoon
Pen: Zig

I created this page for the January Scrapbook Play Challenge at Scrap Attack Scrapbooking. Who says there are rules in scrapbooking? Our {SAS}sy Scrapbook Play Challenges will help you “cut loose” and open your eyes to all the rules you follow, consciously or not. Physical characteristics are the focus this month and I created this page about my daughter. Claire and I are different in so many ways, but she shares my crooked grin. I love this floral print paper by Pink Paislee but wanted to add a pop of color. I used my craft knife to cut out the flower petals and backed the cut portions of my paper with a bright orange damask print, also by Pink Paislee.

As a reminder, all scrappers who complete the minimum amount of {SAS}sy challenges per month are eligible to win a coupon good for an additional 10% off all purchases from the SAS Store! The {SAS}sy Team would love to see how you interpret this challenge and how you are inspired by any of our other monthly challenges, which include ad, color, sketches, journaling, greeting card and croppy cat challenges. Happy scrapping!
